Why These Trees Matter:

Hope. That’s what these trees represent. We know firsthand that the number of neighbors in need is rising this season due to layoffs and underemployment and many families are struggling to make ends meet. We gave out 381 turkeys in advance of Thanksgiving and have seen a 40% increase in the number of people served this year compared to last year.  In this time of uncertainty and worry, together, we can remind them that they are not alone and help make this holiday brighter.

Families served by our food pantry, a vital part of our mission to help all our neighbors thrive, will have the opportunity to bring home hope in the form of the tree you are sponsoring.

Our fir trees come from a small farm in North Carolina that was hit hard by flooding last year. By sourcing from them, we're helping sustain small local businesses and providing disaster relief.
