Neighbors Nourishing Neighbors

Grains of Hope nourishes, informs, and connects our community so everyone can thrive.

Problem & Promise
No one should have to choose between rent and dinner
In our region, the cost of living is high and many neighbors fall through the cracks, only about 10% of those we serve receive government benefits. Food is a basic necessity, and when people are fed, they can learn, work, and care for their families. Together, we can make sure no one goes hungry.

Help our community thrive!
Volunteer
Join us and put love into action by sorting and packing boxes, distributing food, or driving grocery pickups. You can also serve behind the scenes with skills in IT, data, admin, grant writing, or board leadership. Everyone is welcome and we’ll train you!
Partner
Join a network of grocers, restaurants, companies, churches, and community groups serving our neighbors. Host food or school-supply drives, donate surplus, sponsor weekly produce/dairy, or plan corporate volunteer days and matching-gift campaigns.
Donate
Ensure fresh, healthy food where it’s needed most. We purchase $500–$1,000 in produce and dairy every week to guarantee nutritious options when donations run short. Give once or monthly or sponsor a week of fresh food. Or give in-kind donations as needed (non-perishables, school supplies, Christmas toys).
Our Mission
To nourish, inform, and connect our neighbors through service, collaboration, and advocacy.

Get Help
Need food or support?
You’re welcome here, no registration needed.
We serve with dignity, kindness, and respect. If you or someone you know needs groceries or assistance, just show up.
When to Come
Food distribution is Tuesdays, 4:00–6:00 PM.
Neighbors often begin arriving as early as 2:00 PM to get in line, but distribution does not begin until 4:00 PM.
What to Expect
Come as you are. A friendly volunteer will guide you through a simple check-in and help you receive groceries. If you’d like, ask about other resources and we’ll connect you to additional support to help your family thrive.
Looking Ahead
We’re building additional case-management supports to help families access resources across the community.
